Dinner Date
Este viernes, fuimos a Tijuana porque mi lindo esposo me invitó a cenar a un lugar llamado La Boheme. Es un lugar pequeño y rústico, un amigo de mi esposo habia organizado un evento. Tenía luces y musica en vivo, un ambiente muy romántico. Sirvieron la mejor sangría, no podía dejar de tomarla. Fue una cena a cuatro tiempos, el primer platillo fue una ensalada, con un sabor riquísimo, tenia fresas y mandarinas, queso y un aderezo que no supe que era pero le daba un toque riquísimo. Tenía una presentación muy bonita pero no pude tomar foto porque en ese momento estaba moviendo la configuración de mi cámara y bueno, digamos que no le moví bien y no enfocaba haha. El segundo platillo fue un pan relleno de crema de camarón, tampoco pude tomar foto :(. El tercer platillo fue camarones en salsa roja, rico y muy picante por cierto, y 2.. se le podría llamar sopes pequeños con pulpo. Yo no me había dado cuenta que era pulpo hasta que me comí el primero y cuando iba a comer el segundo vi las ventosas, me quería morir, nunca había comido pulpo antes, pero estaba rico así que no importó, el segundo sopesito no lo comí porque me incomodó (no como mucho marisco) así que se lo dí a mi esposo, él, encantado haha. Después siguió el postre, fue helado de vainilla con flores y una salsa para acompañar muy rica. Fue una buena noche, de conversaciones largas y risas con mi mejor amigo.

This friday, we went to Tijuana because my sweet husband invited me to dine at a place called La Boheme. It's a small and rustic place, my husband's friend organized a little event, It had little lights and live music, very romantic. They had the best sangria I couldn't stop drinking it. It was a four course dinner, the first one was a delicious salad, it had strawberries and mandarins, cheese and a dressing that I didn't know what it was but it was so good. The plate presentation was so pretty but I couldn't take a picture of it because before that I was going through my camera settings and, let's just say I didn't do it right so it couldn't focus. The second course was a bowl looking bread with shrimp cream, so good!!. The third one was shrimps with hot sauce and two.. sopes i think with octopus. I didn't know it was octopus until I was about to eat the second one and I saw the tencacles, I wanted to die, I've never tried it before, it tasted good so it didn't matter that much, but I didn't eat the second one because I didn't feel comfortable and I gave it to my husband, he was more than happy about it lol. The last one was the dessert, vanilla ice cream with flowers and a delicious dressing. It was a good night full of laughs and long talks with my best friend.
