Las Vegas - Grand Canyon
Moríamos de ganas de ir a Las Vegas y por fin se nos hizo realidad, fue un camino largo pero valió la pena. Disfrutamos cada segundo! Nos quedamos en The Venetian, hermoso hotel con una vista incomparable. El clima estaba cálido y una tarde bajamos a la alberca del hotel pero una hora después empezó un viento fuerte y tuvimos que subir. Descansamos un rato y cuando se calmó el viento nos preparamos para seguir conociendo la ciudad. También aprovechamos para visitar familiares de mi esposo y su prima que trabaja en la panadería de Carlos nos regaló pastelillos, la amé! La ciudad me encantó, no puedo esperar a volver! Antes de regresarnos a California, manejamos hacia el lado contrario, ya estábamos muy cerca del Gran Cañón y no nos lo podíamos perder. Íbamos a la mitad del camino cuando nos dimos cuenta que faltaba gasolina y buscamos un lugar para cargar, al lugar que llegamos nos dijeron que no había y me entró el pánico, pensé que nos íbamos a quedar en medio de la nada. Pero me calmé y aproveché para tomar unas cuantas fotos. Decidimos seguir y si alcanzamos a llegar. Cuando por fin llegamos estaba haciendo demasiado frío y entramos a una de las oficinas para tomar café y comprar boletos para el SkyWalk. Ya que estábamos en el puente tenía todo el vértigo del mundo y de repente empezó a nevar, solo por 5 minutos pero fue lo más mágico! Después seguimos explorando y fuimos a escalar hasta lo más alto, se nos quitó el frio y la vista era impresionante!
We wanted to go to Las Vegas so bad and we could finally go, it was a long road trip but it was worht it. We enjoyed every second! We stayed at The Venetian, beautiful hotel with an amazing view. The weather was warm and we decided to go to the pool, but an hour later it started to get so windy and we had to go back to our room. We relaxed for a while and when it was safe to go out again we grabbed our things and went to walk around the city. We also visited my husband's family and her cousin who worked at Carlo's bakery gave us free desserts, I loved her! I loved the city, we can't wait to go back. Before we went back to California, we drove to the opposite way, we were so close to the Grand Canyon, we couldn't miss it. We were half way when we noticed we had low fuel and searched for a gas station. The place we found didn't have anymore and I was so scared thinking the worst. But I stepped out of the car and took some pictures to stop thinking about it. We decided to keep going and we made it! When we got there it was so cold and went inside one of the offices to get some coffee and buy SkyWalk tickets. When we were on the bridge, I got a little dizzy and suddenly started snowing for about 5 minutes, it was magical! We went hiking and found one of the highest places there. The view was breathtaking!
